Echocardiography

echoEchocardiography is in fact the ultrasound of the heart. It is a very important tool in cardiology since it provides information about the size and function of the heart chambers, the function and the anatomy of the valves, the presence of old infarcts, cardiomyopathies etc. We also use the ultrasound to examine the aortic root, aortic arch, and a large part of the abdominal aorta and check for the presence of any aneurysms.
