Electrocardiogram (ECG)

ecg recorderThe electrocardiogram (ECG) is a simple and fast test. It requires the attachment of electrodes (wires) on the chest and limbs. The electrical activity of the heart is recorded through those electrodes. It can be useful for the diagnosis of various heart diseases such as cororary artery disease, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies etc. In some occasions, we may have to partly shave the chest in order to attach the leads.
