A recent study examined whether exercise for 150 minutes during the weekends is as beneficial as exercise on a daily basis throughout the week.

The study included 89000 participants 40-69 years old. The results showed that exercise only during the weekends had the same health benefits as exercise on a regular basis. Specifically, both exercise patterns, reduced the risk of diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.
